MENUS

SILVER, GOLD & PLATINUM MENU SPITBRAAI MENU

The cost for self-catering will be R160/guest and entitles you to make use of Rondekuil’s catering facilities (eg crockery, cutlery, glassware, white linen, limited use of kitchen equipment etc and a Duty Manager as well as staff for serving and cleaning). Food must be prepared off-site and the Caterer must provide their own chafing dishes and serving utensils.

Tab Deposit: For cash bar or tab services, a deposit equivalent to the required tab amount is required before the wedding date.

Corkage: A corkage fee of R30 per bottle applies to wine supplied by the client. This fee must be paid along with other charges before the wedding.

DJ SERVICE (Optional Extra) Our fees are between R8 050 and R9 800 VAT Inclusive. Two months before the event, our DJ will contact you, to discuss your playlist and any special requirements for your function.

Refunds: Unused portions of the tab deposit or contingency and breakage deposit will be refunded via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) within fourteen days after the wedding reception.

Hire of Venue

Securing Deposit:

To secure venue hire, a deposit of R10,000 is required upfront, forming part of the total venue hire fee.

Annual Increases:

Venue hire fees and catering costs are applicable from October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2024, with a projected 5-10% increase from October 1, 2024.

Included in Venue Hire Price:

Venue rental, VAT, tables, chairs, glasses, secure parking, and bar staff.

Excluded from Venue Hire Price:

Table decorations, centrepieces, flowers, food, beverages, music requirements, crockery, cutlery, white linen (for self-catering), and service charge.

Contingency and Breakage Deposit:

A refundable deposit of R2,000 covers damages, breakages, and contingencies.

Our venue comfortably accommodates up to 150 guests, leaving ample space for dancing and enjoyment.

We take care of table positioning and layout, providing round tables seating 6 to 10 guests each.

For smaller functions, we offer attractive screens to create a cozy atmosphere in a specific area of the venue.

Our experienced Venue Manageress guides clients through every aspect of event planning, ensuring a stress-free experience for all involved.

Food is typically served buffet-style from two large granite tables conveniently set up near the kitchen.

Custom menu options are available upon consultation with our management team.

A cash bar is available during functions, staffed by friendly bartenders.

Guests can run a tab for the duration of the event with a pre-paid deposit or settle payments using credit or debit cards.

Comfortable accommodation for up to 24 guests is available at Rondekuil Estates, with options for bed and breakfast or self-catering.

For weekend stays, a minimum booking of 2 nights is required, with exceptions available for three units in our Country Lodge.

Ons het die hele plek vir ons familie uit geboek sodat ons kan saam kuier vir my dogter se troue. Cathy het vir ons soveel moeite gedoen om alles gereed te kry vir ons groep van 25 plus ekstra gaste. Ons het twee oggende ontbyt geëet en kan vir Jo en haar span net baie dankie sê. Die weer het nie lekker saam gespeel toe ons die Saterdag wou braai nie, maar ons het die hele groep in die rondawel ingepas om rugby te kyk. Die tuine en alles was so mooi reggemaak na al die reën en ons kan Rondekuil vir almal aanbeveel.
